The BFC-STS1530 star screen is a specialized screening machine using rotating star-shaped discs to separate difficult, fibrous and light materials. Unlike mesh screens that blind easily, the star disc system actively agitates material and prevents clogging, making it ideal for wood waste, compost, packaging waste and C&D debris. The 1500 mm wide by 3000 mm long screening deck consists of multiple shafts fitted with polyurethane stars that rotate in synchronization. Flexible star tips deflect to allow contamination through while retaining oversized items. Suitable for single or multi-fraction separation in waste recycling plants.
