The BFC-OSM1200 overband magnetic separator is suspended above a belt conveyor to remove ferrous tramp metal from bulk material flow. The 1200 mm wide electromagnet or permanent magnet belt head pulls iron and steel pieces out of the material stream and discharges them to the side. Essential protection for crushers, shredders and conveyors in mining, quarry, recycling and waste plants. Available in manual or self-cleaning belt types. The deep magnetic field captures both large and small ferrous contaminants.
